A local dealer has a nice 2008 C6 Base for sale. Sure it has an automatic (flappy paddles), but it’s a Vette so no biggie, right?

Nice black with tint...not sure about the vent accent but that’s what Goop Gone is for.

Looks good. Nice rims, too!

Those louvers never look right to me.  Again, removable.

Nothing that can’t be removed if you don’t like it, right?

Oh, that can be replaced cheaply. The leather driver seat looks to be in great shape, especially with less than 20K on the odo.

I think the driver’s seat looks like the miles are low because the driver got in and out a lot. I’d rather have a CTS-V.

I’d want it dull. I might even be okay with the automatic transmission, if it had positive, well-defined shift points, and good dependability reviews.

I guess that’s a bit better than just WD40 and tape.

I like the idea of a super grand touring Corvette with wood, metal and leather on the inside but this isn’t it at all lol
